Dr. Dan Skoglund was born and raised in the Midwest in Moline, Illinois.\u00a0 He attended college and medical school in Illinois.\u00a0 For his psychiatric residency, Dr. Skoglund went to a highly respected program at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.\u00a0\u00a0 The UTSW program in the large city environment gave Dr. Skoglund extensive training in many diverse settings.\u00a0\u00a0 After completing his residency and an additional year in a Forensic Fellowship program, Dr. Skoglund moved to Austin to begin his professional career.\u00a0 He has been practicing psychiatry in Austin since 1998.\u00a0 His area of specialty is adult psychiatry (16 and older) with extensive knowledge in adult ADHD, panic\/anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and women’s issues.<\/p>\n
